About me

About me

I turn sketches into manufacturable pieces with clear paths to cost, materials, and workshop feasibility, so what we design can be made and sold.

10+ years in furniture and objects. I translate ideas into tangible outcomes, not just visuals.

FAQ.

FAQ.

This is where I answer the doubts that usually come up when working together, so you know exactly what to expect before we start.

How do we define the percentage per piece?
icon

We set a percentage per unit sold, aligned to your margins so the collaboration is sustainable. If there’s no production, there’s no cost. You approve which pieces go into production based on your experience and data. We can adjust the percentage by channel (retail, wholesale, e-commerce) and by volume. We do quarterly reviews with your metrics (costs, pricing, rotation) to keep it fair.

What’s the process and what’s included?
icon

Kickoff & brief (20–30 min video call). I learn about your workshop, processes, materials, and goals. Design & prototype. Brief, moodboards, explorations, sketches, and renders. I present an initial 5-piece collection. Plans & documentation. Technical drawings ready for the workshop, 3D model, basic QA, and technical sheets. I stay in touch to answer questions during production. Launch & content. I request photos/videos from the workshop and make visits to generate extra material. I deliver photos, a short vertical reel, and copy for the first collection.

What if a piece doesn’t go into production?
icon

You don’t pay for design. We keep exploring until we define pieces you want to launch. Unapproved designs remain my property and, after an agreed time, I may offer them (or derivative versions) to other partners.

What if a piece doesn’t sell?
icon

We do a deep review of what didn’t work: pricing, materials, photos, design, or narrative. Then we iterate and propose the next piece. You can discontinue designs anytime; once removed from your catalog, the design reverts to my ownership.

Do you charge fixed fees?
icon

By default, there’s no fixed payroll or monthly fees: you only pay when pieces sell. If you prefer, we can agree on a one-time fee (kickoff/development) and reduce the per-unit percentage.

What are the typical timelines?
icon

Exploration: 2–3 weeks. Plans & documentation: 3–4 weeks (in parallel with production as drawings are delivered). Prototype/iterations: defined by your workshop. Launch kit: 2–3 weeks

How do we get started and what do you need from me?
icon

A 20–30 min video call for the brief. Workshop and equipment info: processes, materials, constraints, target prices, and margins. References and catalog goals (price range and quantities)

How do rights and intellectual property work?
icon

You own the pieces produced and your brand. I license the design for manufacturing with you; you have exclusive rights to produce and sell the design while it remains in your catalog. Once it’s discontinued, the manufacturing and sales rights revert to me. If you want a full buyout of rights, that’s quoted separately.
