Curves, contrast, and quiet character.
With three solid legs, one arched, the base breaks symmetry to suggest softness and motion. The top is irregular, carefully proportioned, and includes a small carved dish for keys or coins. A terrazzo surface brings visual tension that balances the warmth of pinewood with the coolness of stone.
A subtle turning point in form.
Durango reintroduced fluid lines into my work and opened space for expressive function. It’s a simple object that quietly redefined how I think about composition, usability, and emotional tone in furniture.
