A reinterpretation of street design, built for interiors.
By studying the geometry of these carts, especially their curved tubing, we translated their language into furniture. The upholstery nods to the fine, linear texture of tamal husks, adding a tactile, familiar warmth.
Everyday elements can become design systems.
Jalisco isn’t about nostalgia, it’s about seeing again what we’ve seen too often. Through local references and honest materials, this chair balances identity, comfort, and industrial clarity.
Next projects.
